GECRY SCHOOL #1
From Gene to Protein Crystal
This school was thought for all those who want to approach crystallography as a technique for structural biology studies and have limited or no experience in this field. The main target of the School was to provide the most important and frequently used biological and crystallographic tools needed to get protein crystal structures starting from gene information.
The School was a full immersion hands-on experience alternating theoretical information (condensed in a few lessons) and at least 4 hours per day be dedicated to experiments in the lab for protein expression and crystal preparation
The first edition of the School was held at ELETTRA Synchrotron (Basovizza, TS)
